On November 16, a captivating aerial video shot in Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture captures a magical weather phenomenon in the middle of China's Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.

The video showed the cold air from the north being blocked down by the Wumeng Mountains, creating thick white rain clouds on the side of the peaks. The clouds keep churning and rolling under strong winds, creating a natural spectacle.

According to media reports, this is actually a weather phenomenon called quasi-stationary fronts, which are formed when cold and warm air fronts of equal strength encounter each other and reach a state of stillness.
