A brave cashier managed to defend herself from a robber armed with a broken bottle as he attempted to steal from a shop in St Petersburg, Russia, on November 12.

The 46-year-old, now known as a repeat offender, threatened the cashier with a broken bottle demanding to store assistant to empty the cash register.

Bravely, the shopkeeper used a stool to defend herself from the criminal and even managed to fend him off with the help of a few customers.

Whilst the criminal managed to initially escape, he was arrested three days later.

In a disturbing incident on November 12, 2023, a 46-year-old repeat offender attempted to rob a convenience store on Karavaevskaya Street in St. Petersburg, Russia. Armed with a broken bottle, the suspect entered the store, menacingly threatening the cashier and demanding both cash from the register and the employee's gold jewelry. The tense confrontation, captured by the store's surveillance camera, showed the courageous cashier attempting to shield themselves behind a stool as the assailant moved aggressively around the counter. The assailant managed to escape initially, disappearing after the crime. However, the authorities successfully apprehended the suspect three days later on Rybatsky Avenue.
