A cat was captured cuddling with his owner in bed in eastern China.

Heartwarming CCTV footage filmed in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on November 15, shows a woman in the depths of sleep, blissfully unaware of the stealthy approach of her 6-year-old cat, ErPang, deftly navigating his way to the sleeping owner.

With a series of gentle paw scratches on the covers, the cunning cat successfully signals his intent. Remarkably, the woman, still in the clutches of slumber, instinctively lifts the quilt. ErPang then seizes this moment, slipping into the sheets' cosy embrace with the utmost delicacy.

The video captured on November 15, 2023, in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province depicts a cozy nighttime scene in the bedroom of a cat and its owner.

In the footage, a woman was peacefully asleep, while her kitten, ErPang, cautiously approached his sleeping owner. After a couple of gentle scratches of the covers with his paws, the owner sensed the cat's movements and instinctively lifted the covers in her sleep, allowing the cat to delicately slip into the warmth of the sheets.

Chinese netizens were impressed by the 6-year-old kitten's resourcefulness and good behavior. The owner couldn't help but joke on seeing the surveillance video that she had gotten trained to automatically open the quilt by the cat.
