Milk tea with celebrity-faced marshmallows becomes a massive hit in China
A new milk tea featuring marshmallows printed with celebrity faces has swept the internet in China.
The video was filmed in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province on November 23.
Each cup of this special milk tea, named "I Want to Brew Milk Tea," contains a piece of marshmallow adorned with a celebrity's face.
Priced at 28 yuan (£3) per cup, it is available on delivery platforms and offers a choice of 11 different celebrity face marshmallows. However, customers can only add one marshmallow to each cup.
Currently, the marshmallow featuring the likeness of Zhao Benshan, a renowned Chinese comedian, is the top seller.
In response to potential infringement issues, a shop staff member clarified that the images on the marshmallows are artistic renditions, not actual photographs of the celebrities' faces.
