Student Encounters a Fierce and Unusual Bird on Campus in Tianjin, China
This footage was filmed and produced 26 May 2023.
On May 26, a video recorded an unusual encounter at Tianjin Polytechnic University as a bird swiftly charged towards the videographer.
However, this bird is far from ordinary - it is larger than typical birds, resembling a chicken, with a long, protruding beak. It even attempts to jump towards the person recording the video.
The bird is probably to be a Botaurus stellaris, a protected species in China.
