An unusual sight caught the attention of many students as a girl was seen walking a chicken on a leash in a university campus in China.

The bizarre video was filmed Wuhan City in Hubei Province on March 4.

Eyewitnesses revealed that this spectacle unfolded as they were making their way back to their dormitories after class.

A crowd had gathered, intrigued by the scene. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed that indeed, a girl was leisurely strolling with a chicken.

While the university strictly prohibits the walking of dogs on campus grounds, this was the first instance anyone had witnessed someone taking a chicken for a walk, leaving onlookers bemused and astonished.
