"Now I'm in Harbin, the capital city of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The 25th Harbin Ice and Snow World has been open for tourists recently. It's a world-leading theme park of large-scale ice and snow sculptures. Please follow my camera and explore more."

The park covers an area of 810,000 square meters. It boasts the largest scale in its history, with over 250,000 cubic meters of ice and snow sculpted into appealing landscapes and sculptures.

Every winter, workers use swing saws to carve ice into blocks from the frozen surface of the nearby Songhua River. Thousands of workers toil day and night in the lead-up to the launch of the park in mid-December.

In this ice-and-snow wonderland, visitors can admire various landscapes made of ice and snow, as well as can enjoy fun facilities like the 500-meter-long ice slide.

"The biggest highlight of the park is the 120-meter-high sky wheel. In its cabin, visitors can have a panoramic view of the park and even the Harbin City."

The "Harbin Ice Show" is another highlight, as it brings together over 50 artists from 12 countries to present visitors with a visual feast.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): BIAN YUAN, Tourist
"The ice sculptures here are amazing. I took a lot of nice photos. The scenery seen from the sky wheel was also very beautiful. I also watched the 'Harbin Ice Show.' The performances of the actors were wonderful. I had a good time here."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): ZHENG SAN, Tourist
"It's my first time to come to the Harbin Ice and Snow World. The scenery is fantastic. I enjoy my visit to Harbin very much and look forward to coming back again."

Harbin has abundant ice-and-snow resources, making it a popular destination for winter tourism in China and attracting countless tourists from home and abroad. Ice and snow have created business opportunities for various related industries, thus heating the local economy.
