The video was filmed on December 22 in the City of Zhengzhou of Henan Province.
The shopping center held an event where customers could win prizes by high-fiving.
Customers eagerly pressed the button, expecting a random ball to appear. However, behind the machine, there was nothing more than a wooden partition, and each ball that emerged was manually placed by an unseen operator.
