A chicken clung to the fence during a wintery blast in northern Spain.
Footage shows the fearless brown bird with its fingers clasped on the structure to defy a fierce snowstorm at the Alt Pirineu Natural Park in Catalonia on January 7.
Another resilient chicken was seen 10ft behind doing the same thing during the weather disturbance, and both stayed in place despite the fence swaying from the strong winds.
The unusual scene came during a cold weather front that brought snow, frost and freezing temperatures to several regions in Spain.
