An ignited firework soared into a warehouse, sparking a massive blaze in central China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Nanyang in Henan Province on December 31, 2023.

An ignited firework accidentally shot into a crevice near a warehouse. Due to the tightly locked warehouse doors, the children were unable to inspect the situation further. After a fruitless attempt to peer inside, one of the boys gave up and left, resuming the fireworks display.

Approximately three minutes later, flames and thick smoke emerged from the windows above the warehouse. The warehouse manager, noticing the fire, promptly initiated firefighting measures.

Unfortunately, the blaze had escalated beyond control. Emergency services were alerted, and firefighters arrived on the scene, successfully bringing the situation under control.

As of now, the specifics of the damages and subsequent compensation are still being communicated and addressed.

12月31日上午10时18分，河南南阳，三个孩子在燃放网红烟花“旋转小彩菊”时，不慎致燃着的烟花蹿进附近一仓库门缝内，因仓库大门紧锁无法进去查看，小男孩趴下查看无果后随即离开，继续燃放烟花。约三分钟后，仓库上方窗户处出现火光并伴随浓烟冒出，仓库负责人发现失火后立即开展扑救，然而火势太大已经无法控制，现场人员随即拨打119报警，10时44分，消防队到场后成功处置。
目前，具体损失和后续赔偿问题还在沟通处理中。
春节临近，年味渐浓，不少人开始燃放烟花爆竹，这类旋转烟花点燃后会快速旋转起来，方向不受控制，能旋转30秒左右，非常绚丽，但绚丽的背后却暗藏危机。
