Horgos Customs data show that in 2023, 196,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables were exported to Central Asia through the Horgos Port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, reaching a year-on-year increase of 154.6 percent.
Customs clearance of agricultural products is fast-tracked through a "green channel" at the port.
The shortened time has ensured the freshness of fruits, cut costs, and improved efficiency for businesses.
