Russian snipers 'hit 500 Ukrainian personnel' in conflict
The video shows the prowess of the sniper unit from the Russian 150th Motorized Rifle Division, Southern Military District, in the ongoing in the Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine on January 29.
The Russian Ministry of Defence reported that armed with advanced sniper rifles like the SVD-M and ASVK-M, the sniper unit from the 150th Motorized Rifle Division had successfully neutralized around 500 personnel from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), playing a vital role in winning key settlements across various fronts at distances spanning from 150 metres to two kilometres.
A spokesman said: 'Adapted to diverse terrains, these highly skilled snipers employspecialized camouflage for extended periods, demonstrating their effectiveness insupporting assault groups and countering attacks in populated areas.
'Their exceptional service has earned them prestigious state and departmental awards from the Russian Ministry of Defecse, recognicing their outstanding contributions to the operation'ssuccess.'
