A cow was rescued after it had fallen into a drain near a stadium in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

This incident happened in Shahdol district of the state on February 3.

Visuals showed officials of the Atal Kamdhenu Gausevak Sansthan attempting to rescue the cow. Moving the massive animal was not an easy thing. A man was initially seen trying to move the cow. He dragged the bovine by its horns and also tried to push it away from the drain. After not achieving success, he was seen deploying the use of a rope.

Following a lot of effort, the bovine could be moved out of the drain and it was seen that its legs had gone deep into the mud inside the drain. The rescuers subsequently tied ropes to the cow's legs and dragged it out of the mud after a lot of effort.
