In a continued effort to secure new areas above and below ground, IDF troops are intensifying their ground operations in the Gaza Strip. Recent reports indicate that the forces have encountered armed Hamas soldiers disguised in civilian clothing, who were allegedly planning attacks on IDF troops in western Khan Yunis.

During these operations, dozens of soldiers have been killed, and approximately 80 individuals suspected of soldiers activities have been apprehended. Among those captured were soldiers involved in the October 7th massacre at Kibbutz Nir Oz.

In targeted raids, IDF forces have located and confiscated various weapons, including grenades, AK-47 rifles, RPGs, explosive devices, and ammunition. Additionally, IDF snipers eliminated over 15 soldiers, and identified and neutralized an enemy spotter who posed a threat to the troops.
