SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): XIE MOXI, Online literature writer
"Online novels are something quite new. They appeal to the younger generation. So I write stories that young people may enjoy reading, and try to build a bridge between the younger generation and traditional culture, encouraging them to foster an interest in the traditional culture."

Through the online literature, readers could learn about Chinese cultural elements and core values such as diligence, harmony and cooperation.

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): YUAN YE, Online literature writer
"The opportunities bestowed upon us by the contemporary times have shaped generations of people. I'm quite confident that the cultural products we create belong not only to China but also to the world. They are relevant both to the present and the times yet to unfold in the future.
The pursuit of beauty, kindness, and benevolence, as well as the longing for friendship, love, and familial bonds, is universal among people around the world."
