During the Spring Festival holiday, Hekou County in China's Yunnan Province which borders Vietnam has seen a boost in cross-border tourism.

"On the second, third and fourth days of the Lunar New Year, there are many Vietnamese tourists traveling to China, and the number of travelers in the last three days is the highest. Vietnamese tourists like the scenery in Yunnan, and the service in China is very good."

According to the local culture and tourism bureau, from Feb. 9 to 12, nearly 180,000 tourist visits from home and abroad were registered in Hekou, with a tourism revenue of nearly 138 million yuan (about 19 million USD).
