Man Gets Into Fatal Motorcycle Crash While Fleeing from Police in Oklahoma City, USA
This footage was filmed and produced 16 February 2024.
A tragic incident unfolded in Oklahoma City as 24-year-old Tyrese Moore lost his life in a fatal motorcycle crash after attempting to evade police officers. The heart-wrenching video captured the desperate moments as a cop tried to rescue Moore following the collision with a pickup truck.
The events transpired in response to a suspicious activity call received by deputies from the Oklahoma City Police Department regarding individuals on motorcycles in a neighborhood near SW 17th Street and Western Avenue. In an attempt to apprehend the unruly motorcyclists, officers had engaged in a pursuit after multiple failed attempts to stop them.
As the pursuit intensified, Moore, one of the riders, tragically crashed into the back of a pickup truck in the 3000 block of S. Western after swerving left of center. Despite efforts by officers to render aid, Moore succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the second rider, identified as Hunter Miller from Kansas, managed to evade capture initially but was apprehended shortly after the incident. The police department revealed that upon examination, a stolen gun was found on Moore's person, adding another layer of complexity to the unfolding tragedy.
Miller has since been booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Centre as investigations into the fatal crash continue.
