Salvador Sanchez Tisis, an 82-year-old man who had been missing since Sunday, has been found by National Police and Naval Intelligence forces at the La Clica military zone near the Navy's Tercio (TEAR) facilities in San Fernando, Spain. Authorities located Salvador during a search operation in the area known for extreme sports events like Fan Pin, where he had become trapped in the mud of canals and marshes, according to police sources involved in the rescue.

Salvador was discovered near workshops used for training marines, an area not frequently visited by civilians. Police believe he became disoriented and unable to find his way back home after leaving Sunday morning. Recent video footage indicated Salvador was in the nearby Fadricas II industrial area on Sunday afternoon, prompting search efforts in that vicinity.

Following his rescue, Salvador is being taken by emergency medical services ambulance to Puerta del Mar hospital. Initial reports suggest he is disoriented, weak, and dehydrated but is receiving necessary medical attention.
