Warmhearted video has emerged from China of a bus driver helping a female passenger to chase a thief jumping out of window to escape.

In the footage, filmed in Yichang, Hubei Province on February 1, a woman is arguing with a man. Then, the man suddenly jumps out of window on bus, while driver gets off bus and goes after him immediately.

According to local news, as the female passenger named Mrs Cheng said she would call police and driver stopped bus and closed door, the reportedly thief stopped arguing and suddenly jumped out of window.

Although the driver Mr Qiu couldn't catch the suspicious man, Mrs Cheng felt touched and thankful to him.
