Pet fish mimics owner by opening its mouth widely during playful battle
A pet fish mimicked its owner by opening its mouth widely during a playful battle in southern China.
The hilarious video was filmed in the city of Guizhou City in Guangdong Province on March 1.
A woman was seen playing with her pet fish at home. She seemed to engage in playful banter with the fish, making faces and gestures towards it.
Surprisingly, the fish responded by opening its mouth wide, appearing ready to engage in a "battle".
Ms. Chen, the owner, revealed that she had been raising this particular blood parrot cichlid for four to five years. Initially timid, the fish now frequently interacts with her.
Chen finds it amusing that whenever she opens her mouth wide to tease it, the fish mimics her actions, creating a playful dynamic between them.
