Potawatomi Zoo recently released a hilarious video featuring Zoo Director Josh and their beloved three-banded armadillo, Cachi. The video showcases Cachi playing with Director Josh and highlights the charming personality of the unique creature.

Zoo Director Josh and Cachi recently made a special appearance at Kennedy Academy for Literacy Night. The duo read a book and engaged with students about armadillos, creating a memorable and entertaining experience for all in attendance. As usual, Cachi stole the show with his playful antics and adorable demeanour.

Kristina Barroso Burrell, Marketing and Communications Manager at Potawatomi Zoo, shared insight into Cachi's role as one of the zoo's Ambassador Animals. These animals are utilized by the Education Department for various educational programs and visits to schools, libraries, and other community locations. Cachi, in particular, stands out for his outgoing and engaging personality, often showcasing quirky behaviours such as jumping on shoes and playfully chasing after visitors.

Cachi has become a fan favourite among zoo visitors, thanks to his captivating presence and unique charm. His playful nature and friendly demeanour make him a joy to watch and interact with, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of meeting him.
