Mystery plaque appears on bench - paying tribute to 'Husband, Father, Adulterer'
A mystery plaque has appeared on a bench in Bristol - paying tribute to a 'Husband, Father, Adulterer'.
The inscription was spotted on a bench in Royal York Crescent in the Clifton area of the city this morning (Friday).
It adds: 'Yes, Roger, I knew'.
Commemorative plaques are often attached to benches in memory of lost loved ones.
The 63-year-old woman who spotted the plaque said: "I have to say I found it very funny when I saw it."
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
The full message reads: 'For My Love. 06.09.69 - 25.12.23. Husband, Father, Adulterer. Yes, Roger, I knew'.
The plaque appears to be in good condition, indicating it is relatively new.
