Ghastly face of colors festival in India, Rajasthan's world famous gunpowder Holi
Many colors of Holi can be seen in India. Millions of people celebrated Holi, the traditional Hindu festival of colors across the country but a Holi had a ghastly face in South Asia. Unique gunpowder Holi played in Mewar, Rajasthan state in India. Here the youth of Menar Brahmin community played Holi with iron swords, guns and cannon. on the ocassion of Holi, it was felt that this is Diwali festival, where people shot the guns, play with the iron swords and cannon. The area got shaken by the sound of cannon and guns. This Holi organized for the last 450 years to celebrate the victory of Menaria Brahmins of Mewar over the Mughals. People wearing traditional clothes as they take part in the historical holi, celebrated in midnight. This Holi is celebrated in Menar village located on the Udaipur-Chittaurgarh National Highway, about 45 kilometers from Udaipur. Tourists from all over the world come here to see the world famous Gunpowder Holi of Rajasthan.
