Turtle makes clever escape from stingray
A turtle made a clever escape from a stingray that was trying to steal its food.
The shelled creature had snacks inside the jar ornament in the tank when the white-blotched stingray found it in Bangkok, Thailand on May 10.
It hid at the bottom, and while the bigger animal was busy sniffing around, the turtle swam upwards to flee through the jar's hole.
Footage shows the turtle retreating, hiding, and finally getting away through the mouth of the jar while the stingray was busy.
Tank owner Thanyarat said: 'The turtle was new in the aquarium while the stingray was already there for quite a while. It was the first time they met each other.'
