A master concert presented by Chinese and Hungarian artists was held in China's Chongqing on Saturday.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary.

Hungarian artist Viktória Herencsár said that time-honored instruments are witnesses of the two countries' cultural exchanges.

"Hungarian cimbalom and Chinese dulcimer are of the same family, dating back over 4,000 years. For millennia, they've been both developing in each country.
I have been to Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places in China to perform.
I started to learn about Chinese musicians and instruments many years ago.
So, it's a special experience for me to perform with Chinese dulcimer artist."
