STORYLINE:
Construction of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway in southwest China's Yunnan Province is progressing remarkably.
As of Tuesday, the 21.17-km-long Binghui tunnel, part of the high-speed railway, has reached 20,042 meters in digging progress.
The tunnel is classified as a Class I high-risk tunnel due to dangers like rockfall, collapse, and bottom deformation.
Despite these obstacles, the project team has implemented effective measures to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient construction.
