Man battles through storm to retrieve rubbish bin
A star employee battled through a storm to retrieve his company's rubbish bin in Thailand.
Footage shows the worker struggling against the powerful winds that blew his umbrella upside-down in Tak province on April 16.
He soldiered through the downpour and carried the plastic rubbish bin back inside the building.
The man's friend, Napatkamon Ramang, said: 'I was laughing so hard because his umbrella was no help at all. He was trying to be a good worker and securing the rubbish bin, but he ended up being drenched.'
The Thai Meteorological Department on that day had forecasted isolated thunderstorms with gusty winds and hail across northern Thailand, including Tak province.
Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are entering their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.
