Unique, very traditional bika cake making process

There are many naming terms for food. Usually, the name represents a feeling, process or place. Well, bika cake is one example. This Minang food has a unique name, hell cake with the taste of heaven.
The making of this Minang snack can be said to be quite unique. After the cake dough made from rice flour, coconut water and granulated sugar is ready, the next process is cooking. The dough will be put into ancient cooking pots made of clay. In the cauldron, banana leaves are first placed as a base for the dough which is molded in a circle.
The name "hell" cannot be separated from the cooking process of this Minang culinary dish. There is another cauldron containing firewood with a burning fire placed on top of the cauldron containing the dough.
