This is the breathtaking moment a crocodile emerged from a pond in front of dozens of onlookers.

The reptile named Dalka by locals has become accustomed to people gathering near its home just so they can watch it crawl out of the water in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.

Footage shows Dalka talking its time moving across the road while a crowd of elderly and even kids stood from a distance to capture the animal on video with their phones.

Dalka ignored them waving their smartphone camera and continued towards its destination which was the other side of the road.

Onlooker Khomkrit Krachantuek said: 'Dalka has become a local celebrity with many fans coming to see him. He's very calm and not dangerous.'
