Dabao, the nine-month-old toddler, was spotted climbing the stairs of the historic tourist attraction in Jilin, on April 30.
Footage shows the boy carefully ascending the flight of stairs on his hands and knees while his parents watch.
According to Mr Yang, a relative of the baby, his parents, who are usually busy with work, took some time off during the holidays to visit the Great Wall.
