STORYLINE:

In Oct. 2021, Urubleuskaya Nastassia from Russia married a Chinese man in a small village in east China's Fujian Province. They settled down in Xiapu County.

"I come from Russia and I came to Xiapu in 2019. The reason I am here is my Chinese husband."

After living in China for several years, Nastassia learned Chinese language and living styles, even how to use chopsticks. Besides, she fell in love with traditional Chinese culture, such as Chinese tea and Chinese cuisine.

Now Nastassia is a vlogger. She produces and posts short videos with her husband on social media. Most of her videos feature local food, landscape, culture and her daily life.

"When I was in Russia, a lot of things were imported from China, and now when I came to Xiapu in 2019, I saw rare high-rise buildings, but now there are a lot of high-rise buildings, and new roads have been built.

Nastassia said the speed of China's development in recent years has amazed her. For instance, a small county like Xiapu is quite livable, which is one of the main reasons she chose to become a vlogger, so that more people are able to discover the beauty of Xiapu through her vlogs.

"In the future, we plan to do some trade and let more people know about China through internet and short videos, and welcome more people to travel in China."

Nastassia said that China and Russia have maintained a good momentum of development in economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, and she is quite optimistic about the future of China-Russia relations.
