Cliff fall leaves retirement homes hanging close ot cliff edge above Sea, Newhaven, East Sussex, UK
An enormous section of cliff fell into the sea yesterday with further rockfalls overnight landing on the beach. The chalk cliff fall is just metres away from Newhaven Heights, a mobile home park for the over 50's. Residents are now precariously close to the cliff edge and would suggest that it won't be long before both the coastal path and the homes near the cliff will have to be abandoned. Meanwhile the beach below has outcrops of chalk rock precariously hanging over it. Newhaven, East Sussex, UK
