Driving on a highway in heavy rain with limited visibility in Thailand.

While driving back to Bangkok from Phetchabun on May 21st, I experienced hellish driving conditions. It rained practically the whole day. Also we had thunder and lightning. We had a friend traveling with us who needed to get to the airport for a flight back to Canada, at 9pm. When we reached BKK area the rain eased off, but when we were heading for the Airport, the rain started again, and we saw a few accidents, the traffic started to move very slowly. Finally we got there on time, but the trip back home to Pathumthani, was yet another nightmare. Looks like the rainy season is kicking in, here in Thailand.
