This is the hilarious moment a cocker spaniel carried a log longer than her in her mouth.

Working cocker spaniel Lyra was out for a walk in Liverpool, Merseyside, on May 27 when she pulled a huge log out of some bushes.

The five-year-old pooch proudly ran around with the stick for more than 45 minutes, wagging her tail constantly to show how happy with herself she was.

Lyra’s owner David said: “She’s always finding things to carry on our walks but normally its balls.

“This stick was massive, more like a log really. It was easily longer than her and quite heavy to pick up.

“Lyra carried it around in her mouth for pretty much our whole walk, around about 45 minutes.

“She’d have to keep putting it down every 10 seconds or so for a rest but she’d pick it up straight away and carry on walking.”
