SOUNDBITE 1 (English): HAFIZ MUHAMMAD WAQAS, Pakistani expat
"Hello, everyone. My name is Hafiz Muhammad Waqas. My Chinese name is Mowan. I come from Pakistan. I started my journey in China in 2016. I'm really interested in modern technology. Recently, more and more people are talking about new quality productive forces. I was told that Wuxi is building a new V2X city, which means vehicle to everything. Let's go and find out what is really here."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): HAFIZ MUHAMMAD WAQAS, Pakistani expat and WU YE, Project manager of a local tech company
"Hi! I heard that this vehicle is very smart. Can you introduce it a little bit?
Okay. Let me introduce this vehicle to you.
Actually, you'll find that our vehicle doesn't have traditional rearview mirrors like regular vehicles do. Instead, we have four tentacle-like devices positioned around the vehicle. These devices are equipped with various sensors, including radars. This setup allows our vehicle to utilize multi-sensor fusion technology to achieve functions such as autonomous driving.
That's very smart.
Would you like to have a ride?
How can I access the service?
Actually, if you scan our QR code with your phone, our platform offers two functions. The first is what you see on this interface, which is our online car-hailing and ride-sharing service where you can select your pickup and drop-off points. The second function is our bus service, which operates on fixed routes.
What if there's an emergency during the trip?
You'll find that each of our vehicles is actually equipped with a safety officer who has an emergency brake button in hand. In our backend, we have our Wuxi smart driving operations service center with a dozen or so remote control cabins, each manned by corresponding safety officers who oversee the real-time operation of our vehicles.

"Along the way, I noticed that most of the stops are near scenic spots, commercial centers, and community centers. I believe that they will provide people with a punctual, comfortable, and safe traveling experience."

SOUNDBITE 4 (Chinese): WU YE, Project manager of a local tech company
"This is a data platform independently researched and developed by our company. Currently, we have integrated data from over 11,000 intelligent connected vehicles in the city. What you're seeing on this interface is the data from our autonomous driving vehicles."

SOUNDBITE 5 (English): HAFIZ MUHAMMAD WAQAS, Pakistani expat
"During my journey in China, I have also realized that through various policy measures, China is truly forming a favorable social environment for the development of the new quality productive forces to promote technological innovations and industrial progress."
