Fueled by a rise in global demand, China's electronics exports have shown significant growth in the first four months of the year.

At a consolidation warehouse in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, workers are combining small shipments of goods from across the country into a single truckload.

According to Shenzhen customs officials, the city exported more than 85 billion U.S. dollars-worth of electronics, mainly to Europe and the U.S., from January to April this year, a 19 percent increase from 2023.

A manager from the logistics company said booming overseas demand is keeping them extremely busy this year.
