Akasa Air’s Delhi To Mumbai Flight Diverted To Ahmedabad Over Security Alert

A Delhi-Mumbai Akasa Air flight was diverted to Ahmedabad on Monday morning following a security alert on the plane Bomb Threat. The flight carried at least 186 passengers, including a baby, and six crew members.

After diverting to Ahmedabad, the plane landed safely at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport around 10.13 am.

All passengers were evacuated at the airport.

The captain followed all required emergency procedures and landed at the airport. Akasa Air follows and maintains all safety and security protocols in place,’ an Akasa Air spokesperson said
