Passengers were evacuated from a plane due to a bomb scare in Florida.

More than 170 passengers were on board Allegiant Air Flight 2006 when an explosive threat was discovered at Clearwater International Airport.

Footage captured by Sara Seay shows people leaving a plane and walking away while police officers with dogs enter the aircraft to check for explosives on April 25.

Police reported that a flight attendant on a plane bound for Cincinnati found a note containing a bomb threat just before 5 p.m.

The threat mentioned all Allegiant planes, but no explosives were found in or around the airport or in any planes.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said K-9 deputies, assisted by other agencies, investigated the threat.

No injuries were reported, and there was no danger to the public.

The threat, found by a flight attendant, mentioned all Allegiant planes but no explosives were detected either on the plane or in the vicinity.

The plane was delayed as passengers were evacuated and asked to leave behind personal items. Airport management assured that the safety of passengers and crew is their top priority.

Operations at Clearwater International resumed later that evening after several hours of disruption due to the security incident.
