A fire broke out in a coach of the Taj Express train in northern India’s Delhi. Authorities swiftly responded to the incident, evacuating passengers as precautionary measures were taken.
The incident took place at Okhla- Tughlakabad block section of Okhla Railway Station in Delhi on June 3.

Visuals showed a terrifying fire blazing fiercely within four coaches of a train, its flames so intense that everything inside had turned to ash, and thick black smoke billowed out, engulfing the surroundings.

The incident unfolded as Train No. 2280, the Taj Express, approached the Okhla-Tughlakabad block section, with flames engulfing a coach upon arrival. Prompt action was taken, with passengers swiftly evacuated from the affected areas to ensure their safety.

Upon receiving reports of the fire, Delhi's District Magistrate and other officials rushed to the scene, coordinating efforts to bring the situation under control. Fire brigade teams were also deployed promptly to contain the blaze, as visual evidence emerged depicting large flames emanating from the train's coach.

Efforts are underway to ascertain the cause of the fire and to prevent any further escalation of the situation. Passengers have been advised to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities as investigations continue.
