Footage shows street culture enthusiasts performing at the open-microphone event ‘Wanna Beat Street Culture' at Seacon Square Hall.

The music lovers could enjoy mini concerts from local rappers such as P-HOT, nicecnx, and JV Jarvis from May 9 to 19.

There are also rap battle in the Rap Is Now Cypherlogy MVP Season 2 portion of the event where participants could try to outdo each other with rhyming skills.

Shoppers could also buy streetwear items from clothing brands Bans, Etacha, SEP, or local sellers X2 Street Culture and CNX Sneaker Festival.

There is also a crane game in which visitors can win limited edition sneakers worth 100,000 baht (2,143.14 GBP) in total.

Hip-hop is a cultural movement that emerged in the 1970s in the Bronx, New York. This involves rapping, MCing, DJing, turntablism, break dancing or B-boying, and graffiti art among others as its elements.
