Gaza: Gaza health system suffers burnout, shortage of supplies due to extensive casualties resulting from Israel attacks

Storyline:
Gaza's already struggling healthcare system is suffering a burnout and lack of resources due to an influx of casualties resulting from Israel's recent attacks on the Nuseirat refugee camp.
At least 274 people were killed and nearly 700 others injured in the Israeli strike on the camp on Saturday, according to local health authorities.
Injured people kept swarming into the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, currently the only functioning medical facility in the central Gaza Strip since the Israeli bombardment.
As the hospital has exceeded its max capacity due to a drastic surge in the arrivals of the injured, victims have been left lying on the floor after being briefly treated, waiting for further care.
The authorities of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said that the eight-month Israeli onslaught has put the hospital on the verge of collapse, with just one generator still working.
With the continuous closure of land crossings by the Israeli army, the hospital is unable to get new generators or spare parts for repairs.
Severe shortages of medical supplies, medications, and a scarcity of healthcare personnel have further exacerbated the crisis, with the medical staff working round the clock for eight months.
If the hospital stops operations, hundreds of thousands of people in central Gaza will lose hope of seeking medical care.
"We urge all countries, the international community, and international organizations to immediately intervene and save Gaza's healthcare system, as most hospitals in Gaza have already stopped services," the spokesman continued.

"Our hospital is overwhelmed by such a large number of casualties, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly. It far exceeds our capacity. The hospital is packed with the injured and patients, which poses a great burden on us. In such dire circumstances, we do not have an adequate supply of medicines, medical equipment, and essential healthcare items, and lives of the injured and patients in hospital are in grave danger. If Israel's attacks continue to cause more casualties, the hospital will face an actual catastrophe. We urge all countries, the international community, and international organizations to immediately intervene and save Gaza's healthcare system, as most hospitals in Gaza have already stopped services."
