Storyline: The Palestinian death toll in the war-torn Gaza Strip had risen to 56,259, with 132,458 others injured since the outbreak of the latest round of conflict between Hamas and Israel on Oct 7, 2023, said Gaza's health authorities on Thursday. Over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks claimed 103 Palestinian lives and injured 219 others, as reported by the health authorities. On Thursday, Israel bombed a street near a flour distribution center in central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah, resulting in at least 18 deaths and many injuries, according to Palestinian media outlets. The Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza condemned the Israeli airstrike, which targeted on-duty police and security personnel, as well as numerous civilians.
