Major blaze engulfs Revo Town Mall in Bekasi
On June 22, 2024, a major blaze erupted at Revo Town Mall in Bekasi City, Indonesia, causing widespread panic among shoppers. Footage shared by onlooker @beningnuno captured the chaotic scene as brave individuals attempted to rescue those trapped inside the mall. The fire, which initially started in one of the shophouses, quickly spread across multiple floors, including the third and first floors. Fire officer Haryanto explained that the rapid spread impacted the central area of the mall, necessitating the deployment of hundreds of personnel and dozens of fire trucks. The fire was successfully extinguished by approximately 10:19 PM local time.
