Spanish mounted police displayed their showjumping skills at an event in Seville, Spain, on Wednesday, July 3.

Officers from the National Police leaped over police cars and motorbikes that had been arranged as fences for gala.

The event was organised by the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Jerez de la Frontera, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the National Police.

Held under the theme 'Committed to you,' the gala highlighted the long-standing partnership between law enforcement and the community.

The evening's program included a joint performance involving the Cavalry Squadron of Seville and horses accompanied by riders from the Royal School.

The force praised the 'woderful work of our police'.

They said: 'This collaborative effort not only showcased the skill and discipline of the mounted police but also celebrated the historic milestones of the National Police Force.'
