For the first time in a decade, the Fourth of July fireworks show hit the Hudson River and thousands of New Yorkers witnessed the celebration.
More than 60,000 rockets with over 30 different colours lit up the night in New York during the 4th of July celebration.
The banks of the Hudson River were filled with thousands of people enjoying the 25-minute spectacle.
In addition to the fireworks, there was a drone show.
