监控画面显示，事发时，父亲陶先生正蹲在地上关门帘，而女儿则兴奋地从后面跑过来，双手搂住他的脖子。这本是一种常见的亲子嬉戏场景，然而，当陶先生起身时，女儿并未松手。几秒钟后，陶先生突然失去意识，与女儿一同倒地。
据医生分析，陶先生失去知觉的原因可能是女儿在抱住他脖子时，无意中压迫了双侧颈动脉窦。颈动脉窦是颈动脉血管上的特殊结构，内有压力感受器，一旦受到压迫，会导致血压降低、心率显著减慢，从而引发晕厥。
幸运的是，倒地后女儿的手移开，压迫解除，陶先生逐渐恢复意识。虽然两人的头部在倒地时都受到了撞击，但经过医院检查，确认均无大碍。
