Nanjing, China - July 12, 2024

Recently in Nanjing's Pukou District, a remarkable incident unfolded when Mr. Teng, a local villager, discovered that his flock of 9 sheep had mysteriously become 11 after going missing not once, but three times.

The adventure began when the sheep took advantage of Mr. Teng's nap and made a daring escape, strolling nonchalantly onto the Sima River Bridge. Concerned passersby promptly alerted authorities due to safety risks during the flood season.

Officers from the Shiqiao Police Station swiftly responded, transforming into makeshift shepherds to safely guide the sheep back. This wasn't the first encounter with Mr. Teng's runaway flock; police had previously returned them once, but the determined sheep seemed to have a knack for repeat escapes.

Two days later, after another disappearance, police found the sheep yet again, but this time, to everyone's surprise, the count had increased from 9 to 11. It turned out that during their escapades, one of the ewes had given birth to twin lambs, doubling the flock size.

Mr. Teng expressed gratitude for the police's diligent efforts and pledged to tighten sheep management in the future.
