Armed robbers open fire at jewellery shop in Mumbai, India
Three masked men were caught on video opening fire at a jewellery shop in India before stealing goods worth more than a million dollars.
Footage shows the robbers storming into the shop in the Kharghar district of Mumbai, India, on July 28.
Police said the robbers, clad in black and armed with revolvers, threatened and assaulted the staff before proceeding to loot the store.
A spokesman said: 'In three minutes, they shot four to five rounds though no one was injured.'
Authorities stated that efforts are underway to apprehend the three robbers and that a case will be filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act for dacoity and other related offences.
