The terrifying moment two fearless dogs faced-off against two lions was caught on CCTV in Amreli, Gujarat.

Footage captured on August 11 shows the two dogs relentlessly barking at the much larger lions on the other side of a metal gate.

One of the lions is seen attempting to claw the canines and eventually manages to pull open a gap in gate.

Fortunately for the dogs, the lions failed to spot the opening before backing off as a security guard armed with a baton and a torch approached.

The guard, named Bhim ji Bhai, said that he ran towards the gate after hearing loud sound. He waved his baton to scare off the lions.

But it seems dogs won the fight and lions ran away into the bush . In the entire clash, there was only an iron gate separating the dogs and the lions! later on a Security guard can also be seen coming out with a baton . Speaking on the video Security guard Bhim ji Bhai tells that after hearing a loud sound I ran towards gate and waved baton on the animals to get them away .
