China's Haiji-2 deepwater jacket smashes Asian records
Meet Haiji-2, China's record-breaking deepwater jacket structure.
Haiji-2 was built independently by the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The 338.5-meter Haiji-2 jacket operates at an average depth of 324 meters and weighs 37,000 tonnes.
This breaks Asian records for structure height, weight, operational depth and construction speed, according to CNOOC.
